Proud Beginning for Emerging Sailors as B/2025 Batch Concludes Passing-Out Parade

    Patuakhali, 23 November 2025 – A colourful passing-out parade marking the completion of boot camp training for the Bangladesh Navy’s B/2025 batch of new sailors was held today at the parade ground of BNS Sher-e-Bangla in Patuakhali. Chief of Naval Staff Admiral M Nazmul Hassan attended the ceremony as the chief guest, inspected the parade, received the salute, and presented awards to top-performing recruits.

    Among the graduating batch, Rizan Molya achieved the highest overall performance and received the Chief of Naval Staff Medal. Md Maruf Hasan Munna was awarded the COMKHUL Medal, while Md Hasan Ali earned the Sher-e-Bangla Medal for meritorious achievement.

    In his address, the Chief of Naval Staff paid deep tribute to the heroic freedom fighters of the Liberation War, the fearless naval commandos, and the martyrs of the July–August anti-discrimination movement. He urged the new sailors to commit themselves to fulfilling their duties within a modern, capable and three-dimensional navy, expressing confidence that they will play a vital role in protecting Bangladesh’s vast maritime boundaries and contributing to national development.

    The ceremony marks a moment of honour, pride and responsibility as the newly graduated sailors begin their journey in service to the nation.
